Dr. Tiffani Fries, DC
A Journey to Functional Medicine
Dr. Tiffani Fries’ passion for functional medicine is deeply rooted in her personal experiences and her unwavering commitment to helping others. Born in Salt Lake City and spending her younger years moving frequently, she developed an early interest in health and wellness. While her family’s travels took her across the Midwest, where she excelled in academics and athletics, her heart remained connected to Utah.
After graduating Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Dr Fries decided to combine her love of health and wellness with helping others. This experience ignited a passion within her, inspiring her to dedicate her life to helping others achieve optimal health.
She pursued her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic, graduating with honors. She further specialized in women’s and children’s health during her studies. After graduation in 2001, she returned to Salt Lake City with her husband, Matt, to establish her roots and settle their family.
After a complex injury, Dr. Fries, DC witnessed firsthand the limitations of conventional medicine in addressing chronic health conditions. She spent years in the medical system, spending thousands of dollars with no answers to getting better, but worst yet, no hope to get her life back. This fueled her desire to delve deeper into the root causes of illness and injury, leading her to embrace functional medicine. Through extensive training and certifications in areas like chronic pain, gut health, inflammatory conditions, hormone health, and autoimmune conditions, she expanded her expertise and refined her approach. She helps women daily get back to feeling themselves but also has a deep love to help those with chronic, complex conditions live a better life.
Today, Dr. Fries, DC is a leading functional medicine practitioner in Salt Lake City. Her commitment to ongoing education ensures that she remains at the forefront of this rapidly evolving field. At Salt Lake Functional Medicine, she combines her deep knowledge, compassionate nature, and unwavering dedication to help patients achieve lasting health transformations.
Beyond her professional life, Dr. Fries, DC is actively involved in the Salt Lake City community. She has dedicated countless hours to volunteering with Utah Youth Soccer and currently serves as the Past President of the Utah Chapter of the United States Naval Academy Parent Club. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband to visit her girls, hiking in Utah’s beautiful landscapes, sharing meals with friends, reading, and long walks around her neighborhood listening to her favorite audible book.
